The team behind the outdoor movies in bed (Mov’in bed) and the drive-in cinema (Mov’in Car) have been secretly working with Darling Harbour on Australia’s new summer sensation.
In 2016, Mov’in Bed – the Outdoor Bed Cinema was bringing a summer breeze to the Aussie cinema industry with a unique bed under the stars cinema experience. Since then, the event has made its way to be the best outdoor cinemas in Australia. Early 2020 Mov’in Car, the Drive-in Cinema landed in town, leading the drive-in cinema trend to become the country’s first COVID-compliant event.
This summer, they’re hitting Australia again with a spectacular floating cinema experience – happening in Darling Harbour from December 2020 to March 2021.
On the movie line-up side, blockbusters, classics, roms-coms and kids movies will shine all summer long in Sydney Harbour!
The opening night on the 3rd of December will feature the irresistible Dirty Dancing starring Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey.
Movie goers will have the chance to view some fan favourites like Lion, Tenet, Interstellar, James Bond Goldfinger, Matrix, Casablanca, Elf, The Broken Hearts Gallery, Death on The Nile and many more.
