An urgent recall has been issued for cocktail prawns sold in Woolworths across four states and territories over a potential contamination.
The Woolworths branded Cooked and Peeled Cocktail Prawns with a best before date of February 21, 2022 are affected by the recall.
The recall is due to a potential microbial contamination which can cause illness if consumed.
Food Standards Australia and New Zealand said they were sold at Woolworths in VIC, SA, NT and WA and at Woolworths Metro stores in VIC.
What to do: Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice and should return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
