On February 25, we celebrate National Chilli Day — the legendary dish that can either bring people together or tear them apart.

Are you a chilli fan? Tilda rice, have shared their top four favourite recipes with us to celebrate.

Thai Green Prawn Curry

With a total preparation and cooking time of 30 minutes, this delicious and better-for-you recipe uses turmeric, cardamom, and green chilli to bring the curry to life. For an added dose of flavour, we recommend pairing this curry with Tilda’s Coconut, Chilli & Lemongrass Basmati Rice. And for those feeling hesitant to go gung-ho on the spice, Tilda’s Coconut Basmati Rice offers a milder flavour to even out the zest.

Lemon Chilli Chicken with Asparagus

This pescatarian-friendly meal is ideal for those wanting to dip their toes (or fingers) into something spicy without diving in head first. Tilda recommends using its Coconut Basmati with this recipe. And an in house tip: Double or triple the recipe for large group dinners or #MealPrepMonday, it’s sure to be a hit!

Chilli Con Carne

It wouldn’t be World Chilli Day without this Mexican favourite. Tilda’s twist on Chilli Con Carne uses turkey as the base, however you might like to switch it up for lamb or beef. This 30 minute recipe calls for Tilda’s Spicy Mexican Basmati Rice, which uses chilli and paprika to bring its spicy flavour to life.

Bibimbap

This Korean dish is as fun to whip up as it is to say. Gochujang sauce creates the spice in this tangy recipe, which can easily be adapted depending on your spice-o-meter. The original recipe calls for Tilda’s Long Grain Rice which is not yet available here in Australia, so Tilda’s in-house recipe development team suggest Fragrant Jasmine Rice (pictured).
