Australia’s favourite steam train Puffing Billy Railway is welcoming Victorian families to experience the
magical steam train and reconnect with the outdoors running daily services during the upcoming school
holidays from Friday, 2 April to Sunday, 18 April 2021.

Departing three times a day across the two-week period, passengers can feel the excitement from the
moment they arrive at the station. Those keen for an adventure can travel up to 24 kilometres through the
forests, fern gullies and rolling farmlands to witness the magnificent beauty of the Dandenong Ranges on the
historic locomotives.

Chocolate loving passengers visiting between Thursday, 1 April to Monday, 5 April can pre-order and collect
a special Easter treat from Belgrave Station. Gembrook Bakery chocolate hot cross buns are available to pair
with hot chocolate or milkshakes for the perfect addition over the Easter weekend.

The railway also offers a range of memorable experiences, including a full day, stand-alone journey to
Lakeside or Gembrook complete with pre-purchased picnic or lunch packs, or a shorter trip to Menzies Creek,
paired with a morning tea and visit to the Menzies Creek Museum.

The Menzies Creek historic museum houses over 80 exhibits and allows guests to peer into Victoria’s past
for a glimpse of more leisurely days with its collection of rare operational steam and diesel locomotives, and
railway-related artifacts.

Large families and groups of friends looking to gather and enjoy Puffing Billy’s unique heritage experience
can also book their own exclusive carriage to comfortably embrace living theatre as they travel along the
railway.
