Fruit-tella has launched Australia’s first vegan friendly and gluten-free jellies, which are a perfect option for families looking for alternative snacks for kids or when the young ones want lollies on a special occasion.

The new jellies come in fun and playful shapes, Gelatine Free Hippos (apple, lemon and strawberry) and Gelatine Free Sour Wrigglers (raspberry, apple, orange and lemon), and parents can feel good about knowing that they’re free of any nasties and are made with real fruit juice, natural colouring and natural flavours.

Healthy alternatives for kids birthday parties

Fruit-tella

Fruit-tella has launched Australia’s first vegan friendly and gluten-free fruit flavoured jellies. Available in two variants, Gelatine Free Hippos and Gelatine Free Sour Wrigglers, they’re tasty with an unmistakeably fruity flavour with no hidden nasties.

Watermelon Popsicles

Super easy to make, all you have to do is slice a watermelon into triangle pieces, place the slice onto a popsicle stick, pop them onto a tray and freeze them before all the kids arrive.

Vegetable nuggets

DIY vegetable nuggets are not only delicious but much healthier than regular nuggets. Cook sweet potato, broccoli, peas and corn (or any other veggies you like) and then mash until smooth. Create nugget shapes from the mixture, dip the nuggets one a time into flour, then eggs, then breadcrumbs and bake in the oven.

Noshu Snackles

Noshu Snackles is 96% sugar free and is perfect for fussy eaters and sugary snack sneakers that don’t want to compromise on taste for less sugar. All Snackles bars are made with natural colours and flavours and each bar contains less than 1g of sugar per serving.

Popcorn

For a healthier popcorn alternative, purchase kernels and pop them in an airfryer. Keep them plain, flavour them with a touch of salt or if your kids are adventurous, flavour them lightly with a cajun spice mix.

Fruit chips and veggies sticks

Another winner is always the good old veggie stick (carrot, celery, cucumber) with some hommus or greek yoghurt for dipping. Try noodle veggies in the airfryer recipe

OR try spicing some of your fruit with cinnamon sugar and popping it in the oven.
