Coles and Woolworths to sell rapid COVID-19 tests

Grab your COVID-19 testing kit next time you get fresh bread and milk.

Coles and Woolworths have confirmed that they will start selling the Hough Pharma COVID Antigen Nasal Test from November.

The Chinese-manufactured test, one of eight approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration, comes in packs of two and five which are expected to be sold for between $10 and $30.

It allows users to gently swab their nose and throat from the comfort of their own home and delivers results in around 15 minutes.

It comes after Australia’s medical regulator this month approved the use of at-home COVID-19 testing kits from November 1.
