This is a simple and delicious meat free bolognaise you can use for anything from pasta to lasagne and pies. If you did want to use meat, simply brown off with the veggies at the beginning and proceed with the rest of the recipe. 

serves 4, makes approx. 1l 

Ingredients 

3 tbsp olive oil

½ cup each onion, carrot, celery, diced

2 clove garlic, sliced

Salt

2 tbsp tomato paste

1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes

½ cup kalamata olives

1 pkt Aussie Sprouts Crunchy Combo 

Method

Place a medium saucepan over a medium heat and add the olive oil, onion, carrot, celery garlic and good pinch of salt. 

Cook for about 4-5 minutes then add the tomato paste, tinned tomatoes and olives and simmer for 10 minutes.

Add the Crunchy Combo and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve straight away with cooked pasta and some parmesan cheese or cool and store in the fridge for use later.
