This Queen’s Birthday long weekend, foodies can leave their winter blues at home and head to Grazeland to tantalize their tastebuds with a feast of gooey cheeses and elegant wines, running across the weekend from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th June.
One of Grazeland’s signature annual events, the festival will launch a dedicated Cheese and Wine Zone, as well as delightfully cheesy specials from vendors served up alongside their usual spread of foodie delights. Nothing will get feta than this!
Not to be missed menu items for cheese enthusiasts include mouth-watering caciocavallo cheese melted over coals, then spread over garlic bread and cheese fondue, plus pillowy gnocchi cooked in a cheese wheel creating a rich, creamy sauce that decadently coats every inch. Visitors can also devour mixed cheese quesadillas, cheese platters, savory cheese crepes, cheese gozleme and a seriously indulgent plate of loaded fries drizzled with truffle cheese.
Sweet tooths will be catered for too with a selection of sweet treats including ricotta filled cannoli and frozen cheesecake on a stick.
Grazeland will also showcase a selection of award-winning wines including Grant Burge Meshach, a dark and spicy Shiraz, St Hallett Old Block, an elegant Shiraz with notes of black fruit and Arras Grand Vintage, a cool climate sparkling from Tasmania. The perfect accompaniment to the many stringy delights.
Since opening in 2021, Grazeland’s community of talented traders and enthusiastic foodies have made it the go to spot for delicious food, beverages and live music on the weekends in Melbourne.
Grazeland has the largest diverse food offering in Melbourne, is perfect for small and large groups and very family friendly.
