Coles Magical Builders range is set to arrive in stores next week, offering 35 characters from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts franchises – including fan favourites Harry, Ron and Hermione.
Coles have partnered with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to launch the 100 per cent Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified cardboard collectibles, which are fully recyclable.
From Wednesday July 6, all Coles customers will receive a free Magical Builders character with every $30 spent in one transaction both online and in-store at Coles supermarkets.
Enthusiastic collectors can also purchase the recyclable play sets individually from between $9.75 and $15.
Forest Stewardship Council CEO Damian Paull said that the FSC is “proud to partner with Coles” and delighted to bring the Wizarding World characters to life in an environmentally-friendly way.
“Together, we bring about positive change by providing forest-friendly alternatives to plastics. The Magical Builders range is made with responsibly sourced FSC-certified materials, helping to protect our forests for future generations,” said Mr Paul.
Vs Woolworths Fix-ems
The Magical Builders collectibles release comes just days after Woolworths’ announced Fix-ems, which is set to launch the same day in partnership with Disney.
Woolies’ Fix-ems are reusable woven patches that can be adhered to surfaces or permanently ironed onto fabrics, like clothing, pencil cases, skateboards or water bottles.
