With the September school holidays just a few sleeps away, it’s time to start planning activities to keep the kids occupied!
Running until September 30, the AR.Trail, a digital artwork exhibition by Melbourne’s Fed Square, ACMI, the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and the Koorie Heritage Trust (KHT) in collaboration with Acute Art, is the perfect way to get the family outside the house and exploring creative culture.
The AR.Trail showcases 22 digital artworks by some of the world’s leading contemporary artists, including new commissions by Australian artists, which are positioned across key sites throughout the Melbourne Arts Precinct, from Federation Square down the corridor to the National Gallery of Victoria.
The experience can be accessed via the free Acute Art app, on iPhone or Android devices. Kids can simply scan the QR code at each artwork site to uncover the virtual pieces. Photos can be taken via the app with each of the digital artwork pieces, creating a highly engaging and fun filled experience for the family!
