Super Mario Bros. are back and we’re just a little bit excited!

Mama has fond memories of playing Super Mario World and Super Mario Cart the Super Nintendo (so many supers!) and now our kids get another exciting chance to experience Super Mario Bros. with the launch of the latest game Super Mario Bros. Wonder for Nintendo Switch.

The first Super Mario Bros. game launched in Japan almost 40 years ago, and Mario’s been moving ever since. Whether he’s running, jumping, racing or doing something completely different, he’s had countless adventures.

In the new Super Mario Bros. Wonder up to three other players can join in, crowding the screen to compete for points and help each other overcome obstacles. Mario’s trademark power-up transformations are back, with the headline feature being a flower that turns characters into elephants spraying water from their trunks!!

All the gang are back; Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Blue Toad, Yellow Toad or Toadette and more. With 12 different characters to choose from, it’s the largest line-up in a Super Mario game yet. Pick to play as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Blue Toad, Yellow Toad or Toadette. Yoshi is immune to enemy damage, can eat items and spit them out. Like Yoshi, Nabbit doesn’t take damage from from enemies, but is still susceptible to falling down pits and can’t use Power-ups.

Every course contains its own Wonder Flower – collect one, and anything can happen. From moving pipes to tilting terrain, bouncing Hoppos to stampeding Bulrushes, skydiving to space walks, you never know what’ll happen.
