Australia’s favourite chocolate frog has just turned 90 years-old and to celebrate, Freddo is going 3D! In September 2020, the iconic frog is launching as a 3D hollow Freddo (25g) featuring yummy candy treasures inside his tummy – Freddo’s biggest innovation in 10 years – giving Freddo fans a surprise with every bite!

Staying true to the distinctive, fun and playful character we know and love, 3D Freddo will take Australians on a journey like never before! In fact, Freddo will be adventuring to space and the oceans, donning four new looks including space suits, snorkels and togs, ready to explore the world around us. An all new way to enjoy Freddo, the new range will generate excitement and collectability amongst families.

Marketing Manager for Cadbury, Kate Watson, said the new way to enjoy Freddo was another exciting chapter for the much-loved character.

Freddo doesn’t just explore the natural environment; he’s taken steps to look after the planet too, being plastic free and wrapped with recyclable foil packaging. Freddo’s filled with edible candy treasures in space and underwater shapes offering fans some added colourful fun.

But the journey won’t end there! Every year, chocolate lovers will be treated to new themes, encouraging them to continue seeking their next great adventure.

Freddo 3D Adventure will be available Australia-wide in a treat size 25g from 23rd September 2020 for an RRP of $2.50.
