The 5th annual East Malvern Food & Wine Festival will return to East Malvern’s picturesque Central Park, boasting a vast range of exquisite wineries from all across Victoria, artisan provedores and entertainment on Sunday 20 November 2022, from 11am to 5pm.

The Festival is pleased to announce now that COVID event restrictions have significantly eased, the event will return to its traditional format, offering an open public free entry event and returning to our tasting ticket packages for tastings and by-the-glass sales.

This free entry public event will take place in the picturesque Central Park, Malvern East. This exclusive food and wine extravaganza will offer a boutique experience as attendees stroll through the open green spaces, wine, dine and recline in the leisurely surrounds.

Featuring a vast range of exquisite wines from Victorian regions, including Turners Crossing, Farmer & The Scientist, Linnaea Vineyards, Montalto Wines, Petronio Wines, Bike & Barrell Wines, Clarnette Wines, Noble Red Wines, Michelini Wines, Wine Animal and Mount Avoca.

Wine Selectors, with their expert wine educator will present a free “Pop Bubble Fizz, trending Tipples and Red Red Ready” masterclass series across the day and Wine Selectors will also feature their Cellar Door with a free tastings journey ‘A Taste around Australia’.

The Festival will also host a local craft beer, Bad Shepherd Brewery Co, and a local Distiller from the Mornington Peninsula, That Spirited Lot Distillers.

We will celebrate new local talents in the park with the Riserva & Grand Cru Wines Chablis & Oyster Bar and the Essie’s Natural Wine Bar, together with the very popular Tom Pockett Cellars Pop Up Margarita Bar once again. Enjoy a selection of the team’s iconic #walktails with margarita flavours, including spicy salted chilli and lime, mango and passionfruit or pineapple sage. 

That’s not all; satisfy your hunger with a feast from local Melbourne favourite food trucks, local favourite restaurants and pop-up gourmet food stalls like Nepal Dining, Bigger Than Texas, Bao Melbourne, The Greek Shop, Mushiki Dumplings, and more.

With some of the best Victorian produce on offer at the Festival, on the day to stock up on some local producers, Boatshed Cheeses and Goldfield’s Farmhouse Cheese, gourmet condiments, and other festive fare from artisanal producers.  There are plenty of options to choose from, too, including Josh & Sue, Melbourne Candle Co, Food Symphony, Lana’s Garden, Vinocotto, Wahrina Pasachios, and much more.

There will be live music performances on the main stage across the day programmed by The House of Voice, and kids will be amazed by magician master classes presented by the local Magic School of Confidence.
