IKEA launches its own baby names

IKEA has released a catalogue full of unique, furniture-inspired baby names – more than 800 of them just to be extra thorough.

“Finding a name for your child can be both difficult and fun. At IKEA, we’ve been naming products for more than 70 years. So, if you’re completely stuck, or just want some inspiration – here you’ll find over 800 boys’ names and girls’ names. Everything from popular Ivar to more rare names like Moalie.” the Name directory reads.

IKEA explained they name its products after Swedish towns, lakes, and other geographical features, but also uses names that have traditionally gone to people.
