Daisy Kelvin is the multi-tasking Mama of two behind online store Leo & Bella. It’s the go-to online space for all things of beauty and charm to transform any interior space. Many of the stylish kids’ bedrooms that provide us with inspiration on Instagram are filled with wares from Leo & Bella. Sounds like a dream job to us, buying beautiful products from all over the world, attending trade fares and boutique markets and well, just being surrounded by so much pretty!
What inspired you to start Leo & Bella and how has the business changed since the beginning?
I wanted to share my love and passion for beautiful things for the modern family. As an avid online shopper, I found a gap in the Australian market as I couldn’t find the things I would like to purchase locally. I created Leo & Bella to bridge this gap and to make it a one-stop shop for the design-driven family. The business has evolved immensely throughout the years from being a party and kids interior store to a clothing and lifestyle store for the whole family.

Kids’ bedroom ideas: go big, or go home we say. Decorating a kids’ room doesn’t mean you have to scrimp on style. In fact, it opens up a whole new world of exciting design possibilities, even for small spaces. It’s the perfect excuse to be as bold, brave or magical as you want. Whether it’s a girls’ room, a boys’ bedroom or nursery, head to Pinterest or Instagram to be inspired.
How important is the social media presence in your business?
Social media is very essential to our business, it helps us to create a presence and it is a platform for us to engage with new, recent and loyal customers. We are able to share inspirations and products images from our store and interact with our audience. It takes a lot of creativity, passion and consistency to keep our social media ruling and rolling. The positive reaction from our Instagram community keeps us motivated to do what we love.
