DIY toilet bombs! A great eco-friendly alternative to help keep your toilet deodorised.

You’ll need:

  • 2 cups of baking soda
  • 2/3 cup citric acid. (You can find this in the cooking aisle of the supermarket)
  • 30 drops (about a capful) of Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil
  • Small amount of water
  • Small spray bottle with water
  • Silicone moulds

Instructions:

  1. In a glass bowl, mix together the baking soda and citric acid. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
  2. Lightly mist the dry powder with water, mixing as you go. A couple of sprays should be enough – too much will cause fizzing.
  3. Add the essential oils and continue mixing.
  4. Using a 1 teaspoon measure, scoop out spoonfuls into the mould.
  5. Let the fizzies dry in the mould overnight. Carefully remove and place in an airtight container or glass jar to use as needed.
  6. Store fizzies in a cool, dry place.
  7. To use, drop into toilet and let dissolve before flushing the toilet
