NSW families and residents are you aware of the numerous FREE vouchers available for you to claim to help everyone out across a wide demographic. Including Friday drinks, dining out and family adventures.

The state government has yet to announce when it will roll out some of the vouchers, but they should soon be accessible through the Service NSW app.

Friday drinks anyone?

Residents of NSW will soon be able to access $100 vouchers to spend in bars and restaurants in the Sydney CBD on Fridays only.

The vouchers will be redeemable at any hospitality or entertainment venue and are expected to be made available to more than 500,000 people.

‘Stay’ vouchers

Residents over the age of 18 can apply for a $50 voucher to use at hotels, motels and other accommodation sites.

The vouchers can be redeemed on any day of the week – including public holidays.

Parents vouchers

Parents or carers with school children can access 5 x $50 vouchers to use across a range of venues.

Entertainment and recreation, cultural institutions, live music and arts venues are some of the places accepting the vouchers.

The vouchers can also be put towards accommodation bookings at hotels and motels.

The $250 discount scheme became available to parents in February. Find more info here.

Dine vouchers

Every resident in the state is now eligible for 3 x $25 vouchers to use at cafes, restaurants or pubs.

The vouches cover takeaway or in-dining meals. They can be accessed through the Service NSW app.

Discover vouchers

Residents can apply for 3 x $25 vouchers to use at entertainment and recreation venues.

Cultural institutions, live music, art venues and museums to name a few places.

The vouchers can be used any day of the week and will be available until June 30. Details here.

Out-of-school care vouchers

A new voucher scheme has been introduced to help NSW parents with the cost of out-of-school care.

Parents of primary school students will get access to $500 vouchers to help with the cost of before-and after-school care.

The government says the vouchers will be available through Service NSW, from February 28, via the same app used to distribute the Dine and Discover vouchers rolled out last year.

Learn to swim voucher

The First Lap voucher program provides a $100 voucher for parents, guardians and carers of children aged 3-6 years who are not enrolled in school, towards the cost of swimming lessons.

The program has also been made available for children in kindergarten in 2021 or who are starting kindergarten in 2022.

The voucher can be used for a program of at least 5 structured and supervised swimming lessons, which are either intensive (daily) or regular weekly lessons. Can be used at any participating business that is an approved First Lap provider, and is valid until 30 June 2022.

Active Kids voucher

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program.

The Active Kids program provides two $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year.

Voucher 1 is valid January to December and Voucher 2 is valid July to December.

To use the voucher, find a registered activity provider and present your voucher when you sign up.

Creative Kids voucher

The NSW Government is helping kids get creative with the new Creative Kids program.

Parents, guardians and carers can apply for a voucher with a value of up to $100 per calendar year for each student aged 4.5 to 18 years old enrolled in school.

The voucher may be used with a registered activity provider for registration, participation and tuition costs for a range of creative activities, including arts, drama, dance, digital design, coding, and music lessons.

The voucher can be used at any time during the calendar year it was issued.

To use the voucher, give the details to your registered activity provider.

The program runs year-round, so kids can get creative at any time.
