The Youth Festivale is a free one-day festival for ages 12 to 18 as part Youth Week in the City.
You’ll enjoy a great line up of entertainment and activities kicking off from 12pm on Saturday 9th April including:
- live performances from Bally Boy, MRVZ, Maysa and Zipporah and local artists Lil Arts featuring The Chaza, Big T, Sonboy, Triniti, Dibs, Yung Brother, and ByDezik
- virtual reality and arcade games run by FREAK Entertainment and My Games Room
- basketball competitions and special guest appearance by Redfern’s very own Sydney Kings player Biwali Bayles
- hands on artivism workshops exploring important issues through art and creativity
- conversation circles led by Voices of Influence discussing human rights and social justice issues
- delicious food from the Oz Harvest Food truck and the Retro Birdie ice cream truck
- market stalls and more
A Welcome to Country and presentation of the Betty Makin Youth Awards takes place at 1pm.
This is a free event organised by young people and for ages 12 to 18 years only. Please book your free ticket to let us know you’re coming.
