Lift Off! is Tasmania’s only dedicated annual cultural festival for children and young people.
Staged each year as part of the national school holiday period, Lift Off! brings alive the cultural precinct in and around the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery’s waterfront site in Hobart, for a four-day and one-evening program of engaging, educational and inspiring activities, performances and workshops.
This year, the theme is ‘spring’.
Partnering with a wide range of allied organisations to activate this cultural precinct for families and children, Lift Off! is a dynamic festival program that attracts thousands of enthusiastic patrons.
Actively involving young people in the planning and delivery of the festival, Lift Off! is a platform for young people and children to explore new ideas and experiences through hands-on activities and inspiring presentations.
