Australia’s favourite dog festival – the Dog Lovers Show – takes over Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre for the very first time. Across three fur-filled days, Aussies of all ages will get up close and paw-sonal with over 800 dogs representing more than 100 breeds. In a Show first, iconic Australian scientist Dr Karl Kruszelnicki will headline the illustrious line up of celebrity animal lovers and experts alongside TV Vet Dr Katrina Warren and new Bondi Vet, Dr Danni Dusek!
From diving DockDogs to pats with rescue pups and a catwalk of Insta-famous pooches, Melburnians are in for a treat at this year’s action-packed event.

Dear fellow Dog Lovers,
After a 3.5-year break, we are SUPER excited to be returning the Dog Lovers Show to Melbourne so we hope you’ll be joining us.
The Show was created in 2013 to celebrate our best friends and to educate, entertain and inform dog owners and lovers, not dogs. It always presents a unique opportunity to meet and connect with hundreds of beautiful dogs and learn more about our wonderful canine companions.
We have worked hard to ensure that this is under controlled conditions for the safety and welfare of dogs and people. We could never deliver this level of care if visitors were able to bring their own dogs, especially as around 30,000+ people attend and over 90% of our visitors own one or more dogs.
We would also need to test the behaviour of every dog prior to entry and review their vaccination certificates which would just not be possible. So, we ask all visitors to please respect this position and do not bring your dog. There will be literally hundreds of dogs at the Show for you to interact with so rest assured you’ll still get your annual fur-fix and be able to return home with stacks of goodies to reward your own pooch.
