Xtend Barre Australia join the National Breast Cancer Foundation as a Corporate Partner to deliver their 11th annual Plié for Pink Fundraiser event, in support of breast cancer research

Breast Cancer is the second most diagnosed cancer in Australia. Nine Australians will die every day and 1 in 7 women will be diagnosed in their lifetime. Breast cancer incidence has increased by 33% in the past 10 years alone.

For the eleventh year running, Xtend Barre studios across Australia will be hosting their Plié For Pink Barrecamp Fundraiser classes on the weekend of October 21-23, 2022 to raise much needed funds and awareness for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).

Anyone is welcome to attend their local Xtend Barre studio where they will get to enjoy a special 75-minute class, pink dress-up theme, cake stall, raffles and much more with all proceeds donated to NBCF. This year, they will also be running a Barrecamp class via live stream on Sunday 23 October at 9.15am so you can play your part in supporting the cause from wherever you are. The class will be taught by Xtend Barre Australia’s Director of Training and Bondi Junction studio owner, Chloe Dallimore.

A much-loved tradition for the Xtend Barre community, this event goes far deeper than a plié. As a predominantly female-based workout, the reality of breast cancer hits close to home for several all members, instructors, and their families. In March 2020, one of their very own WA Instructors sadly lost her battle to breast cancer.

The National Breast Cancer Foundation relies 100% on the generosity of their partners and the Australian community as they are without government funding. Every bit counts as they work towards their vision of reaching Zero Deaths from breast cancer.

To participate in Plié for Pink this year, book your spot in an in-person class at your local studio www.xtendbarre.com.au/studios or join in online.
