This impressive multi-purpose open space was designed by Melbourne based landscape architects GbLA and is absolutely fabulous.

The site’s natural sloping topography is perfect for its giant slide and the bright coloured rubber flooring really makes it pop out of the natural ground covers and grass. There is a functional separation between older and younger kids play areas, picnic and seating location and the large kick about area. The play equipment provides a range of fun opportunities for children of all ages.

The highest section of the site features a metal lookout tower which captures amazing views, which then slides down to a rope climbing area, nest swing and mini tramps. The area for the littlies has swings, a smaller climbing tower with a slide, a little seesaw and covered picnic table area. No toilets here though… beware!

Lots of natural planting provides plenty of green and colours throughout the year and the rock placement acts as natural play, informal seating and steps to link the different areas of the park.
