Glass food jars are one of those great ‘reusables’ with loads of handy purposes, but those old sticky labels aren’t always that easy to remove. Find out a clever trick to easily remove sticky residue below.

People resuse glass jars for all sorts of things like spices, coffee beans, pens, pencils, nuts, biscuits, craft supplies, soap, cereal, and even to drink their smoothie from. But we often find getting that ugly sticky label off is not easy.

Remove sticky residue

In just a few simple steps you will have that label off in no time.

  • Peel off as much of the label as you possibly can – often soaking in warm soapy water will aid the process
  • Put Bosisto’s Eucalyptus Oil on a clean cloth
  • Dab eucalyptus oil generously over the sticky residue
  • Leave for at least 15 minutes to dissolve the sticky bonds
  • Wipe off with paper towel. If you prefer, wash off with warm water.
