Powerhouse has released its seasonal program for Summer School Holidays (21 December 2022 – 26 January 2023). Young people from ages 5 – 15 and their families will enjoy immersive educational experiences at Powerhouse Ultimo, Powerhouse Castle Hill and Parramatta.
Future software engineers and programmers will get the chance to harness their creativity when popular coding and robotics workshops return during the warmer months.
Aspiring fashion designers will also enjoy hands-on workshops inspired by current exhibitions, Zampatti Powerhouse and Gucci Garden Archetypes.
The program also provides unique opportunities to work with Powerhouse residents and creatives like Jordan Gogos (Iordanes Spyridon Gogos) and Susie Rugg (Handy with Scissors).

- FREE Paper People Fashion workshop for all ages inspired by Zampatti Powerhouse at Powerhouse Ultimo
- FREE hands-on science-inspired Creative Studio presented by Powerhouse and TAFE NSW for ages 4 – 12 in Parramatta
- Fashion Design workshop with Iordanes Spyridon Gogos for ages 12 – 15 at Powerhouse Ultimo
- Cricut Custom Design workshop for ages 10 – 12 at Powerhouse Ultimo
- Upcycled Wearables workshop with Susie Rugg for ages 5+ at Powerhouse Castle Hill
- Lego Coding and Lego Robot workshops for ages 7+ at Powerhouse Castle Hill
