Huggies, one of Australia’s most popular nappies on the market for decades, has announced a major game changer to its product to help ease parents stress.
The new change will make life much less stressful for both mum and bub!
Huggies newborn nappies will include a new a zinc-enriched layer to protect babies’ skin from nappy rash and irritation.
Huggies says the product is set to be a “game-changer” for Australian parents.
Two in five Aussie parents said they have lost sleep due to their baby having skin irritation.
A further 38 per cent said their baby’s skin irritation makes them feel stressed and uncertain about what’s normal.
The change is backed by extensive research, with other popular rash treatment products such as Sudocream and Curash already using zinc to help treat skin irritation in babies and toddlers.
Huggies believes the new nappy range will be well received by new parents who are worried about their baby’s skin.
“Doing anything they can to protect that delicate skin from irritation is really important,” spokesperson Gabrielle Davidson told 7 news.
The changes are being rolled out across Australia from Wednesday, August 2.
