‘Wowwwww, awesome!’ Surely this four year-old’s first impression is all you need to be convinced to take the kids along. Aimed more at the daredevils or pre-schoolers, this playground, part of Mirvac’s new Tullamore Estate, will not disappoint. Reminiscent of Jack and the Beanstalk, you can watch as they scale the steps to dizzying heights. They can either slide down the first windy slide they reach, or continue up a ladder to a giant nest and an even longer slide. Once they’ve done that eleventeen times, they’ll want to try out the flying fox, huge basket swing, and rope bridge.

This new adventure playground is one of three in the estate – which is still very much in its development stage, so there’s plenty to do and lots of construction action going on everywhere. All three playgrounds are in walking distance of one another, and they’re all definitely worth visiting for every age and ability. BBQs, park benches, some shade, but not enclosed with fencing. The huge downside, though, is that there are no toilets or nearby cafés, so bring a picnic and an empty bladder!
