Amazon Australia launches Amazon Warehouse offering thousands of great deals on quality pre-owned and open box item.
Amazon Australia has today launched Amazon Warehouse, a new storefront on Amazon.com.au offering great deals on quality pre-owned and open box items across a wide range of products, from smartphones, laptops and tablets, to home appliances and more.
The arrival of Amazon Warehouse adds thousands of discounted items to the more than 125 million products on Amazon.com.au, with free delivery available for Prime members on eligible products.
Customers can shop with confidence, because every Amazon Warehouse order is directly fulfilled and quality checked by Amazon, and comes with all the benefits of Amazon customer service and returns rights.
“Items are returned to Amazon for many reasons – sometimes a product is just not what a customer is looking for, or perhaps there’s a cosmetic defect or the packaging is damaged. These items can’t then be sold as new but are still great quality and in good working condition. Amazon Warehouse gives these products a new lease on life and offers customers an even wider selection to choose from,” Matt Furlong, Amazon Australia Country Manager, said.
Amazon Warehouse products are currently available across 30 categories, including electronics, home improvement, kitchen, books, music, apparel and toys.
Before being listed for sale, each item undergoes a thorough quality check to ensure it’s in good functional and physical condition. Then it’s graded according to one of four evaluations: “Like New”, “Very Good”, “Good”, and “Acceptable”. This rating determines how deeply it gets discounted. To help customers further assess each item and make an informed purchase decision, clear details – such as appearance, functional qualities, accessories and packaging condition – are listed on the product page.
